We’re thrilled to announce that Charlotte Beare and Ian Scarrott will be running the 2026 TCS London Marathon in support of Kennedy’s Disease UK!

This is a huge moment for our charity. Kennedy’s Disease is a rare, inherited neuromuscular disorder that still lacks widespread awareness and funding. Every single step Charlotte and Ian take will help shine a light on the condition – and every pound they raise will go directly toward funding vital research, supporting families affected by the disease, and raising public awareness.

Why It Matters

Kennedy’s Disease UK relies on passionate individuals like Charlotte and Ian to help us move closer to treatments and, one day, a cure. Their dedication and training for this 26.2-mile challenge is no small feat – and they’re doing it all to make a real difference in people’s lives.
